America, Your Government Hates You

Wake up Americans!  While you weren't paying attention and voted for style over substance and rhetoric over accomplishments, you have elected a President and Congress that despises you.  They vote for bills that aren't written.  Even when bills are written they don't read them, and when criticized for not reading the bills they hire a speedreader to show their contempt of you.  How dare you expect them to do their job!
 
While there are flaws in our current healthcare system, the vast majority of Americans know that we have the best healthcare in the world and they like it.  Your government doesn't care.  They know better than you; you're too dumb to run your own life.  You need to let these
academics who have never done anything useful in their life, tell you what is good for you.
 
I suggest everyone take note of the shenanigans of our government and vote them out of office as soon as you can.  Vote for candidates who love this country, who listen to their constituents and who will not bankrupt us in their rush to socialism/communism/fascism.  Elect folks who understand, respect and love our Constitution.  Tell these bums to get a real job, learn what an honest day's work is, and understand that it is your money - not theirs!

Universal Medicare

The federal government already runs one national health care system for those over the age of 65; it's called Medicare.
Medicare is underfunded and is growing broke.  The only way to fix this is to raise everyone's taxes.  Medicare pays poorly.
As a result many doctors and medical facilities will not treat Medicare patients.  Medicare's coverage is not very good either.
Seniors must have a second, private insurance policy to cover what Medicare doesn't pay for or they risk going broke from
medical expenses.
 
Nationalizing our healthcare system is nothing more than government creating a Medicare program for everyone -- Universal Medicare.
So, why does anyone want national healthcare.  It won't be any better than Medicare.  If it is, why doesn't the government fix Medicare
first and show us how wonderful a government run healthcare system can be?  It will definitely be worse than Medicare.  It will cost us all
more in taxes and it will go broke faster.
